Tybee Island, GA.

This is how the fiberglass turtle was developed for Tybee Island, starting with a simple sketch, Icon Poly created the loggerhead turtle to meet Tybee Arts Association specifications.

We start with a block of foam and sculpt in into the Loggerhead Turtle.

After sculpting is done, the raw foam is coated with a special resin to give the foam a hard shell.

Once the hard coat is done a production mold is made to pull multiple exact copies.

Finished fiberglass turtles await the trip to Tybee Island, GA.
